Roundtable discussion Oct. 18 in Toronto hosted by Oikocredit to look at Sustainable Development Goals. Public invited.

The Sustainable Development Goals are an ambitious endeavor by the UN and the world’s nations to grapple with some of the most vexing problems facing humanity. The goals seek to eliminate poverty and hunger and transform communities around the globe by 2030. Oikocredit is hosting a roundtable discussion on this timely and important topic.

Speakers:

Helle Bank Jørgensen, Head of Global Compact Network Canada, the Canadian Chapter of the United Nations Global Compact
Karim Harji, Co-Founder and Director at Purpose Capital, a leading advisory firm on impact investing
Eugene Ellmen, Canadian Director for Oikocredit, one of the largest private investors in development finance in the world

After a short panel discussion, we’ll open the floor to the audience for questions, conversation and dialogue. A cash bar and reception will follow.
