We'll be joining Wisebird & Collective Impact Journey for the antagonist event to Black Friday!
Avoid the lines & unnecessary packaging in malls by shopping at Green Sunday because...
Green Sunday aims to challenge and offer an alternative to Black Friday and mass corporate consumerism by holding space for equitable, transparent and mindful consumption. A space where every item has a story and isn’t contributing to the current climate crisis in the name of profit.
The market is encouraging Torontonians to rethink the way they shop this holiday season by showing support for companies that operate with a social and environmental purpose by selling local, upcycled, reclaimed, repurposed, all-natural, eco-conscious, package-free, and ethical goods.
In addition to the market vibe, there will be a local climate keynote by Rachel Parent, a makerspace, visual climate artists, zero-waste wrapping demos, a documentary film room, and the event will conclude with a local artist musical showcase for the final two hours!
When: Sunday, December 8, 2019
Where: 720 Bathurst St. Toronto
Time: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
