Baobab Plus Cote d'Ivoire (Baobab Plus) is part of the Baobab Group, formerly known as Microcred. It was established to provide solar energy systems and digital tablet services to homes. Baobab Plus was the first MFI to move into pay-as-you-go (PAYG) solar home systems to tackle energy access and financial inclusion challenges.

Baobab Plus was founded in 2016 and first partnered with Oikocredit in 2020.
